EA Canada has revealed the latest changes coming to FIFA 16, improving presentation and accommodating all the different leagues that are being incorporated in.
EA has added hazy, partly cloudy, foggy, random variable rain showers and variable flurries as weather conditions, and expanded the available kick-off times.
The menu interface now allows you to choose a favorite stadium and use it as your background. The menu itself now has a full time highlight option, so you can watch the best moments in a given match.
Vanishing spray has finally been added in, helping recreate the simulation aspect of the game.
Sideline celebrations have been expanded, allowing you to do things like run to the nearest cameraman for a close-up or rush to the substitutes bench to celebrate with your teammates there.
FIFA 16 will do a better job of covering the season. Commentators will remember and recall key highlights, such as notable performances, player debuts, and rumors for transfers and acquisitions. The game’s graphics and commentary will also bring up team stats for each match, and contextualize this in terms of the league standings.
Commentary now includes support for Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Latin American Spanish, Japanese, Polish, Dutch, and Russian.
And now, about league specific features. The German Bundesliga will get their own overlay, which is authentic to what they actually use in broadcast matches. There are also 900 new chants, all based on the different clubs from different leagues. There are 450 new and updated player starheads, taken from players in Barclays Premier League, Women's National Teams, some FUT Legends, and other major players from leagues around the world.
FIFA 16 will be released on September 22, 2015 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows.
