Lionhead has denied that Fable Legends will be released on October 13th, in an update on NeoGAF.
David Eckelberry, the game's director, posted “No idea where they got this date. We don’t have an announced day of release yet, not even internally…”
The developer was referring to an official Xbox YouTube video (below) in which the company recapped Comic-Con. At the 1.50 mark in the video, Legends gameplay footage appears onscreen, along with the release date of October 13th.
Fable Legends is a free-to-play game which features cross-play support between Xbox One and PC, as well as four player co-op.
A release date for the game will may be revealed during Microsoft's gamescom press conference next month.
