Square Enix has announced their lineup for gamescom, ahead of the annual convention in Cologne, Germany next month.

Final Fantasy 15 will be the main attraction at this year's show, and Square Enix plans to give the game a proper unveiling as they being their marketing campaign ahead of release.

The publisher is also bringing the PC version of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Final Fantasy 14: Heavensward, and Final Fantasy 15: Episode Duscae 2.0. – all of which will be playable by gamescom attendees. Other Square Enix games making an appearance include Life is Strange, Just Cause 3, Blight Below, and Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe.

Square Enix Americas and Europe CEO Phil Rogers praised the lineup, commenting:

“We are very happy to present our sensational portfolio of titles not only to industry representatives but also to gamers from all over the world. Whether it is Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest, Deus Ex, Hitman or Just Cause – Square Enix presents its biggest franchises large-scale.”

Microsoft is also promising an exciting gamescom for Xbox owners, but Sony won't be holding a press conference this year, instead opting for the Paris Games Week in October.
