Farm Manager 2022 has made its way onto the Xbox family of consoles today, bringing with it a trailer load full of features and gameplay mechanics.
Developed by Cleversan Games, this new sim tycoon title has you taking the reigns of your very own farm where you’ll be in charge of ensuring crop harvest is good, employees are happy, your livestock is thriving, and of course that your machines are running smoothly.
Farm Manager 2022 includes a variety of different crop types, including common options such as celery, carrots and onions, and some more exotic and odd offerings like gooseberries and currants, just to name a few. Farm expansion is carried out by repairing and renovating old, abandoned lots and buildings, along with constructing new buildings and services like vets, garages, and more that will all add to the overall quality of life for your farm and improve efficiency.
In addition to the varied types of crops and buildings, Farm Manager 2022 also includes a number of different of animals to raise.
This includes your typical array of animals like sheep, goats, chickens, cows, along with more unique options like bees, ducks and geese.
Seasonal changes will also have an effect on your farming operations, meaning that you’ll have to follow a strict calendar schedule.
For instance, fields will be prepared in the spring, plants will be cared for in the summer, then the seeds you planted earlier will then turn into full crops ready to be harvested by the time autumn comes around.
Of course, the winter will shut down most production, but greenhouses will continue to thrive during this time. So, it’s all about prioritizing and strategizing accordingly.
Farm Manager 2022 can be harvested from the Xbox Store for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One and it’ll run you $15.50 (USD). Its predecessor, Farm Manager 2021 is also available on PC.
