E3 2015: Hitman Sequel Gets In-Game Trailer

Follows CGI trailer from Sony’s press conference the day before.

A new in-game trailer for the next entry in the Hitman series was unveiled at Square Enix’s E3 2015 press conference today.

The trailer shows Agent 47, “the world’s premiere assassin,” on a mission to take down a ringleader in a spy ring called IAGO. The narration describes the ways in which players can approach assassinating their targets whether it’s mixing a poisonous cocktail for the target or swinging an axe right into their chest. As players progress through the game, they will unlock new ways to assassinate their targets.

This Hitman game was announced in January, but without any details.  Yesteday, at Sony’s E3 2015 press conference a cinematic trailer for the game was unveiled. Hitman is set to be released on December 8 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. IO Interactive said that the game will have a continually updating release schedule for new content in the form of missions, assassinations, and other objectives, calling it a “live and ever expanding world of digital assassinations.”
