Octodad: Dadliest Catch Out Next Week on PS Vita

May 20, 2015 by Stephen Daly

The game about a normal, completely average father comes to Vita on Tuesday.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch developer Young Horses has announced via an update on the PlayStation Blog that the game will be released next Tuesday, May 26th for PlayStation Vita.

The game is a cross-buy title, meaning those who've already bought it on PS4 will be able to play it for free on Vita. However, Octodad does not offer a cross-save function so you'll need to start over.

There's also a range of new trophies on offer and local co-op on a single Vita.

if you're unaware, Octodad: Dadliest Catch features a normal father with a loving family and just happens to be an octopus. Nobody seems terribly put out by that fact, even as Octodad struggles to get to grips with everyday objects and conceal his identity from the rest of the world.
