Octodad Dated for Release Next Week on PS4

April 18, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

He’s a normal every day dad who’s also an octopus.

Octodad is a normal everyday father with a family who loves him, but he also happens to be an octopus and nobody seems to mind that strange fact. Life for Octodad is a constant challenge as he struggles to manipulate objects with his wobbly limbs and conceal his identity from everyone.

In case that doesn’t pique your interest, you should watch the trailer below, which was released along with the announcement that Octodad: Dadliest Catch will be releasing on the PS4 this coming Tuesday.

The PS4 version contains support for new controller configurations like the PS Move, double PS Moves, and the PS Move plus Nav controller. There’s also local co-op, in which each player takes control of one of Octodad’s many limbs.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch will be $14.99, discounted 20% off for PlayStation Plus users for the first week, making it $11.99 through April 29th.
