Mighty No 9 English Voice Cast Revealed, DLC Not Funded

February 10, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

Recording was done in LA studio Rocket Sound, last year in December 9 to 17.

Comcept has shared a major update to Mighty No 9, revealing the state of their second crowdfund, as well as their English voice cast.

Yes, the game will have full English voice casting, but they were not able to raise enough money to fund the DLC. The devs do say that they hope to find other ways to fund the DLC, which could mean using money they eventually raise from game sales, or finally partnering with a publisher.

Here’s the full voice cast:

Mighty No. 1 Pyrogen:                   Matt Mercer

Mighty No. 2 Cryosphere:            Paige King

Mighty No. 3 Dynatron:                 Jan Johns

Mighty No. 4 Seismic:                     Fred Tatasciore

Mighty No. 5 Battalion:                  Brian. T. Delaney

Mighty No. 6 Aviator:                     Mick Wingert

Mighty No. 7 Brandish:                  JP Karliak

Mighty No. 8 Countershade:       Steve Blum

Mighty No. 9 Beck:                          Yuri Lowenthal

Call:                                                        Julie Nathanson

Dr. White:                                           Jason Spisak

Dr. Sanda:                                           Dave Wittenberg

Seijiro Sanda:                                     Dave Wittenberg

Mr. Graham:                                      Scott Whyte

Dr. Blackwell:                                     Bob Joles

These fifteen voice actors were chosen from 370 preselected applications, from an even larger pool of actors who sent in their samples. They made it clear that cast selections were done blindly, AKA without knowing who the actors were.

Recording was done in LA studio Rocket Sound, last year in December 9 to 17.

Comcept also revealed description of every Mighty Number. You can read it all here.

Mighty No 9 will be released April 2015 on Linux, Microsoft Windows, and OSX via Steam, and will also be coming to Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
