The nonprofit EMP Museum in Seattle is a fun destination for lovers of music, science fiction, and pop culture. And now, it's ready to welcome fans of independent videogames. Beginning November 8, there will be a new exhibit called Indie Game Revolution, where a constantly changing selection of indie titles will be on display. This event will of course have a number a sponsors, but the most important one is Nintendo, which will be bringing a number of Nintendo-bound games to the lineup.
To start off, Nintendo will showcase Yacht Club Games' Shovel Knight and the Wii U build of Curve Studios' The Swapper, with other games potentially coming as EMP continues to update the rotation. There won't only be Nintendo games in the exhibit — you'll be able to sample such fare as Quadrilateral Cowboy or Katamari Damacy creator Keita Takahashi's Tenya Wanya Teens as well.
There will also be an Indie Game Revolution launch party the day before on November 7. You can enjoy food trucks, a beer garden, retro gaming by way of Pink Gorilla Games, and even a Nidhogg tournament! If you are in the Seattle area in early November, do think about swinging by.
