The Swapper Delayed on PlayStation

June 18, 2014 by Yesika Reyes

The game will be coming out on August for further optimization.

Curve Digital announced that The Swapper's release date on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita will be pushed back. The game will be released on August 5th in North America instead of this month.

"We've been able to really throw the power of the PS4 at the game, but we also want to ensure that when the game comes out, it looks great and runs well at 30 FPS on hardware that, in the case of the PlayStation 3, is over seven years old," studio managing director Jason Perkins explained.

It's important to note that the title is cross-buy eligible across all three PlayStation platforms and it will be available for a discount during pre-order time in July.

The Swapper was announced for PlayStation devices earlier this year, but it is already available on PC platforms.
