While most artists prefer to render Joel and Ellie in the form of computer graphics or illustrations, an artist going by the moniker of MarfMeister on reddit has put together a 12” figure diorama of Joel and Ellie, who look stunningly real in the environment.
Here’s what he did to put the whole thing together: “I did not create each component of these figures from scratch, they are what are commonly referred to as 'kitbashes' in the 1/6 hobby. The display features work from several artists, I simply brought it all together, adding my own customization when necessary, to create what you see here.”
For those not in the know, Joel and Ellie are the protagonists of Naughty Dog’s smash hit title The Last of Us, which was released last year and is slated for a re-release on the PlayStation 4 at the end of this month, where the developer has promised to deliver the game in 60fps in both single and multiplayer.
