The Wall Street Journal has claimed that Titanfall 2 is coming to PlayStation 4 in addition to Xbox One, via Reddit.
In an article looking at Sony's success so far this generation and at gamers who have switched from Xbox to PlayStation commented on Titanfall as one game which has benefited the One but then went on to say:
"But its follow-up game, which is in the planning stages, also will be available for the PS4, a person close to the development effort said. EA declined to comment."
It's no surprise that EA hasn't issued a statement on Titanfall 2, which hasn't even been announced yet though CEO Andrew Wilson has said that "new Titanfall experiences for players around the world" are on the way. His remarks led some to believe that the sequel is indeed coming to PlayStation but whether or not that's true will likely be revealed when the game is.
Considering the first Titanfall has only been out since March, it's unlikely the relatively small Respawn has had time to put together a trailer for a sequel for E3.
EA's press conference, which begins at 12 pm PDT today, can be watched live here and information on new DLC may be revealed.
