We’re very close to the launch of the Google Stadia and for those that have adopted the service already with pre-orders, you may have been keeping tabs on what’s to come. However, if you were skeptical and decided to wait and see how the service holds up then Jade Raymond may have a few statements that could potentially sway you towards the upcoming platform. When it comes to exclusive content, one thing is for sure. Google is going to bring out something new and exciting yearly.

For those that are not aware of Google Stadia, this is a new video game platform that will compete with the likes of Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo. It’s a cloud-based service where you will pay a fee for premium access to the likes of 4K streaming and from there you would pay for the video game titles. Afterward, you would simply use a controller to enjoy the video games streamed directly to a variety of devices such as your desktop. The executive producer behind the Google Stadia is Jade Raymond and she recently had a few statements when speaking with Games Industry. One of the elements that should hopefully sway gamers towards the Google Stadia is exclusive content that you can’t get anywhere else and best of all, it would be something that users can expect yearly.

“It’s very important for first-party games, in my opinion, to be games that wouldn’t be possible on any other platform. I think that’s what’s really exciting and why we’re building out the first-party teams.”

One of the ways they’ll accomplish this is through their own studios along with working with publishers. Likewise, the development studios may find that there are certain aspects that they can get away with when developing a project that relies on Google’s hardware rather than being limited to the various hardware provided through the likes of Microsoft and Sony.

For now, only time will tell if Google Stadia will prove to be a viable platform for players to really get into. Currently, Google is slated to launch on November 19, 2019, for those that have pre-ordered the platform.
