Square Enix and Eidos Montreal have released a new console neutral trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut. The trailer is brief, it adds a blurb from one of the good reviews to the lede, and it announces some new content exclusive to the Square Enix website.
The trailer starts with Adam Jensen waking in bed, and immediately noticing his arms are no longer made from skin and bone. As it pans across a blurb proclaiming its 9 out of 10 rating, the scene shifts to a helicopter across the ocean, as Adam asks, “Where is this leading me?”
The scene abruptly shifts again, as Adam faces down a small cadre of soldiers surrounding a building veranda, using Predator stealth and some Bruce Lee fighting skills. Here he asks. “Am I more than human?”
In the next little spoiler, he encounters what appears to be more than one Eliza Kassan, as he asks further “Am I more than human?”
In the next scene, he manipulates data on a tablet, and demonstrates full knowledge of his powers, as he stops asking questions.
As the camera pans to Adam crouching and shooting a soldier at point blank range, a mysterious scarred man makes threats. The trailer also shows off boss fights against Tyrant members Lawrence Barrett, Yelena Federova, and the leader, Jaron Namir.
At the last stretch, we are shown Adam’s abilities, including using hand weapons and Force like stun attacks, giant robots and even more helicopters, military groups taking down scientists in labs, and a bloodied Adam slowly tilting his head up, as he declares he won’t rest, until he finds the truth.
