The Luigi’s Mansion series doesn’t have very many installments attached. Outside of its main debut on the Nintendo GameCube, the series only has one other console installment for the Nintendo 3DS called Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon. During a September 2018 Nintendo Direct, Nintendo revealed that Luigi’s Mansion 3 is being developed for the Nintendo Switch. After Luigi’s friends are captured during a holiday stay gone wrong, players will once again have to battle a swarm of ghosts all over again.
Now, a year later, we get a brand new Nintendo Direct which again features Luigi’s Mansion 3. This title is coming out next month so there have been highlights for the game going up quite frequently. Of course, there is always something new to share with fans and potential newcomers to the franchise. One of those new features that were covered during the September 2019 Nintendo Direct is the Scream Park Mode.
Outside of showing off new areas of the mansion that players will get to visit here soon, a brand new model was unveiled. Scream Park Mode is sort of a party game which can feature up to eight players total. Overall, this game mode seems to feature a few little mini-games, somewhat similar to what you would find in the Mario Party franchise. Players will be battling against each other to gain more points such as capturing the most amount of ghosts before a timer runs out.
Luigi’s Mansion 3, as mentioned, will be launching next month. Players interested in picking up a copy of the game can do so on October 31, 2019, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch platform.
