Gamescom is nearing its annual debut. After running for several years now, this is a big trade fair that’s getting more and more attention from fans worldwide. Set in Germany, the event is a trade fair for video games and as a result, we get new details and even announcements for the biggest upcoming video game titles. It’s not held very long after the annual E3 expo so while some of the big hitters from developers have been unveiled and shown off, there are bound to be some new details and reveals set for those that attend.
We don’t know just what all is planned but there have been a few reports from various publishers and developers about what they plan on showcasing. With that said, there are also some anticipated announcements such as Sega and THQ Nordic. Present during Gamescom and helping the hype build is a presenter named Geoff Keighley who has recently tweeted out that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be present.
Infinity Ward will showcase new footage but also make a special announcement. We’re certainly eager to see the new trailer footage for the upcoming game and we’ll, of course, keep you updated on this special announcement. Currently, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to release on October 25, 2019, for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
