PlayStation Classic Gets Massive Discount

The PlayStation Classic was easily a hyped system that was gearing up for a release towards this holiday season. With only a small handful of games announced, Sony had set aside a date to further reveal more information about the system and the video games that will come with it. As you likely already know, fans and critics were easily putting up lists of video games online that were necessary to be included in this console but unfortunately, most of those video game gems that we grew up loving was not found in the official reveal.

Instead, the system was faulted for the list of games that did not meet the standards of most who would have purchased the system simply from the nostalgia factor. Likewise, there was also the lack of the analog joysticks making this system a true first generation style PlayStation unit. As a result of this, the game console was quickly being dropped from pre-orders and practically tossed into the bins at local retail shops, hoping to move units.

Now if you were still interested in the system, you could potentially pick a unit up at a heavily discounted price. Not long after the console released into the market there is a discount of practically half off. This means that if you wanted the console but not interested in tossing down a hundred dollar bill well you can now pick up a unit for about $60. For some gamers, the ability to potentially hack the system for other titles may be the real reason to purchase a unit.
