We’re getting close to ending out the 2018 year and while all of the major events and expos have already taken place, there is still one additional notable date to keep track of. Sony may have passed on their PlayStation Experience this year, but Microsoft will hold an XO 18 event this month. This event is not something new but was previously spoken about for press and fans who can watch the event live through Mixer. Unfortunately, until today, we have been left in the dark as to what we can expect to see at the event, but now Major Nelson has released a new blog post to further hype up the XO 18 event with some notable guest attendance and video game appearances.
There’s going to be surprises in store for the event but a few video game titles confirmed to be shown off in some capacity are Crackdown 3, Minecraft, Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, and lastly, Forza Horizon 4. We don’t have any word as to what these other surprises could mean at the time being but we’ll, of course, update you on the very latest.
Outside of video games, the event will host notable news, interviews, deals announcements, and guests that range from Phil Spencer, Matt Booty, Helen Chiang among others. Xbox Game Pass is also another aspect that will be brought up at the event with a dozen additional games being added into the service.
This event will last two hours on Saturday, November 10 at 4 PM ET. Gamers can view the event live through a variety of Microsoft sources such as their official Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter accounts. However, you may want to opt for Mixer if you have an account as you will receive free goodies for Sea of Thieves and Forza Horizon 4 just as long as you are logged in and watching the show through the official Mixer.com/Xbox link.
