We’ve been waiting for the upcoming release of Fallout 76, one of the more anticipated video game titles still slated to launch before the end of this year. However, since its announcement, there have been several aspects of the game we had been hoping to see revealed. One of the aspects that gamers have been chatting about is nukes and today we can finally see what it will look like when a nuke is set off.
If you’re unfamiliar with the game, Fallout 76 is a slightly different take to the Fallout franchise. Instead of a normal campaign that gamers tend to go through with the major installments released within the franchise, Fallout 76 is an MMO style title. Players will not have a particular narrative story to complete but instead, the main game is based on building up settlements. Players will be taking the role of a survivor from Vault 76 which opens up after just over twenty years. Your ultimate goal is to rebuild the world after the nuclear war which means scavenging for resources and creating a settlement.
However, the world is full of hostilities that range from creatures to other players. One of the ways that a player can deal serious damage is by setting off a nuke. While the development team has been talking about nukes within the game, we haven’t actually seen what one would look like in-game until now.
In other news we recently covered what the in-game currency will be about and the microtransactions that will be available which are cosmetics only.
Currently, Fallout 76 is set to release on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms on November 14, 2018.
