There are a few big name expos that happen around the world such as E3 and Gamescom. However, another big showing is slated this month in Tokyo. Known as the Tokyo Game Show, gamers can expect plenty of news to start coming out from beloved video game development studios. One of those big titles that are already confirmed to have some type of unveiling is Death Stranding.
Hideo Kojima is a well-known video game developer who has brought out the classic series, Metal Gear. Previously, Kojima was working on a new title for the Silent Hill franchise before the developer and Konami split up. While fans may still be upset that Silent Hills has been scrapped, the focus has since turned onto Kojima’s own studio with their debut title being Death Stranding.
Death Stranding was unveiled during E3 2016 and since then the game has had very few details released to the public. It was only during this previous E3 event that Hideo Kojima showcased the first gameplay footage for the PlayStation 4 exclusive title. Unfortunately, this left us with even more questions in regards to what the game will be about.
Kojima has tweeted out that Death Stranding will be present for a stage showing at this year’s Tokyo Game Show on September 23, 2018. We’re not sure just what the development studio has in mind with the game reveal, but nonetheless, we’re hoping it will unveil some of the narrative story behind the game.
