Bethesda Reveals How Many Players Are Allowed In Each Fallout 76 Server

September 5, 2018 by Dennis Patrick

Player count finally unveiled for Fallout 76.

One of Bethesda’s biggest video game franchises will soon have a new installment. Fallout 76 is slated to release in November of this year and it will act as a prequel to all of the previous Fallout installments. Instead of a standard campaign and missions, Fallout 76 will feature an overall quest dedicated to rebuilding up civilization.

Vault 76 opens up decades after the nuclear war, prior to other vaults. Your goal is to go out and rebuild civilization, which means scavenging for goods and building up settlements. This is not your standard Fallout title as its all online based, acting very much like an MMO with other players around the world. Bethesda has slowly unveiled new information regarding the game such as its size already being four times larger than Fallout 4. However, until now, we’ve been wondering just how many players will be able to join into a server.

Noted by a Game Informer magazine, Fallout 76 will allow twenty-four players into a server with teams that cap at four players. Because this is such a massive map, working together to scavenge items will easily allow teams to break apart. Luckily, it looks like players will be able to teleport to other players in their teams.

We’re certainly interested in seeing just how well this game does being the first Fallout installment to focus on online gameplay. Fallout 76 will launch on November 14, 2018, for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms.
