With games such as Fortnite, Rocket League and Fortnite unifying consoles and PCs (and Sony not playing ball) other companies (such as Bethesda) have been eyeing out the possibility of entering into this exciting untapped market. One of those companies is the Studio behind the ‘MMO’ FPS, Destiny 2.
in a recent interview by Game Informer Bungie’s Steve Cotton and Scott Taylor said they are interested in the possibility of introducing a multiplayer cross-platform functionality in Destiny 2 – but as of right now there is nothing concrete in the pipeline.
I’d say that would be a pretty good move considering the player base has been steadily dropping since the game’s debut. An easy way to make areas populated would be to unify them. Thoughts? Let us know in the comments down below.
Destiny 2 is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
