Yes, we’re all waiting for the next-generation Xbox to be revealed. The news machine is about to explode with fresh information on Microsoft's box, but before all that, let’s talk about the release date of Call of Duty: Ghosts. It seems as if the marketing campaign for the major release has been initiated before Microsoft had the chance to give its big console reveal, letting the world know that Ghosts will be hitting Nov. 5, 2013.
We all knew that Call of Duty: Ghosts would be getting its big reveal at the Microsoft event, which is starting in a matter of moments. However, before that even had a chance to start, Activision let loose its campaign to bring the game to the forefront of websites. The first ads have appeared on GameSpot, showing both the above image with the leaked release date and a 30-second ad for the FPS. The press actually learned of this information last week and was tied to an embargo, but the cat is out of the bag now.
Check out the leaked trailer below.
This release does line up with what we’ve seen in the past. Call of Duty is the biggest release each and every November, and now we can look forward to its next-generation sequel in the coming months.
