In Minecraft: Story Mode, players take the role of Jesse who is a new Minecraft player that is setting off on a grand journey with his friends. Their overall goal is to seek out The Order of the Stone. This journey will take place over a series of episodes and two seasons.
Rock Band 4
Rock Band was a massive franchise that has since dwindled down. This is a rhythm game where players use various physical peripherals to mimic being a band member playing live shows. For instance, a player could use the guitar peripheral and select the various buttons in sync with the game to play seamlessly. However, after too many missed notes, the show will come to a halting stop.
This is a perfect party game with multiple players taking on the various roles such as bass, guitar, drums, and vocals. Rock Band 4 is currently the latest main installment of the franchise which can be bought with just the game or through bundles with various peripherals.
Ori and the Blind Forest
Ori and the Blind Forest is a platform-adventure title by developers Moon Studios. Within the game, players will follow a story with Ori who is a white guardian spirit and Sein, known as the eyes of the Forest Spirit Tree.
Within the game, Ori and Sein are out to save the forest from the hostile enemies. However, the only means of saving this forest is through recovering the light of three elements known as Waters, Winds, and Warmth.
Taking inspiration from The Lion King and The Iron Giant, Moon Studios aimed to deliver a touching narrative with classic platform titles such as the Metroid series.
Fortnite
Fortnite quickly gained popularity when it first launched and continues to see new players daily. The video game is a survival title but the main focus people seem to enjoy is Fortnite Battle Royale.

Yooka Laylee
Development team Playtonic Games contains several former key staff members from studio Rare. As such, the team has opted to make a spiritual successor to one of their previous successful titles, Banjo-Kazooie.
Much like Banjo-Kazooie, there will be plenty of items to collect during your platform adventure. Furthermore, similar to Banjo-Kazooie, there will be two main characters who must stop the evil Dr. Quak from stealing all the world literature and selling it for profit.

I would find it awfully strange to come across someone who doesn’t know about Minecraft. The video game developed by Mojang has grown up to a life of its own with players both young and old going through and crafting their own worlds.
This may be a bit of an odd title to add to the mix, but if you ever played the video game then you know that zombies are present. There are creatures that lurk in the dark and wait to bring your demise.
Ultimately, the video game is about survival as well, staying away from what spawns at night while keeping your vitals up. Most of the versions available for Minecraft feature online gameplay with the PC release requiring a server to be set up before friends are able to join in and help with some creative builds. Likewise, there are several online servers to join in order to compete in various game modes.
Zoo Tycoon
Chances are you have heard about Zoo Tycoon. It’s a classic franchise that’s released a number of installments over the years. Similar to Rollercoaster Tycoon, players are running an attraction park, but instead of thrill rides, players are building a zoo that would entertain guests.
Gamers will design their zoo, decorate it, maintain animals, and manage the business side of zoo operations.
Unravel
Unravel comes from developers Coldwood Interactive which tells a story of a small yarn figured. Players are tasked with going out to locate memories while taking on the role of a small figure in a massive world.
This is largely a puzzle game as much as it is a platformer. As our yarn figure loses more yarn to reach a new area, gamers must figure out a means to claim more threads or use what’s available effectively.
Cuphead
Cuphead, developed by StudioMDHR Entertainment, is a run and gun platform indie title. Overall, the narrative follows Cuphead and his brother Mugman, as they end up making a terrible bet against the devil. Losing the bet, Cuphead and Mugman are forced to give their souls to the devil, but it seems that our protagonist duo can save themselves if they go out and collect debts owed to the devil.
The devil has a number of souls that are owed to him by other sorrowful cartoon characters. If Cuphead and Mugman can go out and collect all the souls then the devil may just allow them to keep their own souls in return.
This is a perfect game to play with a friend as the majority of the game is filled with bosses to defeat. Each boss can be difficult making players to remember their moves and dodge attacks otherwise you’ll find yourself restarting the boss fight.
Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2
Playing out similar to its predecessor is Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2. Developed by PopCap Games, Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is a tower defense third-person shooter where players will go against one another in a variety of game modes.
Speaking of the game modes, all of the previous title’s game modes have returned outside of Taco Bandits with the addition of several new modes with there being over ten to choose from.
In regards to the campaign narrative, Garden Warfare 2 takes place after the events of the first title where Dr. Edgar George Zomboss has reached out to his future self in order to use new technology advances against the Plants.
Rocket league
It doesn’t take very much to describe Rocket League. The game quickly exploded in popularity when it launched back in 2015 and its popularity still holds strong to this day.
Essentially, Rocket League is a soccer title though played with fast vehicles that can launch into the air to either block or knock the ball into a goal post.
A Hat in Time
A Hat in Time will play out similarly to Super Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie, as there is a heavy emphasis on collecting missing pieces scattered through the game world.
In the overall story, players will take on the role of a young girl named Hat Kid. Hat Kid has the ability to interstellar travel, though on her way home she is intercepted by a Mafia group under control of the evil Mustache Girl.
Stranded, Hat Kid must collect her missing “time pieces” that have been scattered throughout the world before she is able to refuel her ship, but she will be racing against the clock as Mustache Girl and her goons are collecting them as well.
Sonic Mania
Sonic the Hedgehog is a staple video game character. Decades have passed since the IP launched and to this day, there are still new Sonic games being pumped out.
Sonic Mania is a side-scrolling platformer that fans of the original Sonic the Hedgehog video game will be familiar with as this particular Sonic title will return to the original gameplay and visual art styles. However, gamers can expect new boss fights, expanded levels along with new elements new to the franchise.
Overcooked
Overcooked is a cooking simulator type video game where players take on the role of a chef who must prepare a variety of meals within the time limit. However, the game is filled with obstacles and hazards forcing players to quickly work together in order to send out the desired meal recipes that come up.
