20 Grand Theft Auto 5 screenshots have been leaked on Rockstar's website and were quickly pulled by the developer but not before screen grabs were taken and uploaded to imgur.
You can see all of the images below which highlight a variety of different environments and game scenes including police car chases, Trevor – one of the protagonists – using what appears to be a minigun, and a man in an ape mask with a rocket launcher.
Earlier this week Rockstar launced three new trailers showcasing the game's three main characters, Michael, Franklin and Trevor. A number of other characters are known about and the game was originally announced in October 2012.
Grand Theft Auto 5 is set to be released on September 17th for PS3 and Xbox 360, versions of the game for other platforms have not yet been announced.
