Okay. Hang on.This is weird and there’s kind of a lot of information to get across. That information needs a lot of words that are kinda jumbled up and on top of each other like a plate of spaghetti and it might be tough to convey. At least with spaghetti there’s that trick you can do where you spin the starchy junk around. There’s no spiny-fork trick for words. We’ll try anyway. There are going to be crossovers in the PC versions of Left 4 Dead 2 and Resident Evil 6.
Enemies from Left 4 Dead 2 and Resident Evil 6 will appear in the other game once an update is released allowing it. Not only that, but the survivors from Left 4 Dead 2 will be making the jump over to Capcom’s game too.
This means that in RE6’s mercenaries mode you can play as Coach, Nick, Ellis or Rochelle, and added into the mode will be the Witch and a “Mini-Tank” infected.
On the other side, Enemies from RE6 (Lepotitsa, Napad, and Ogroman) will be showing up in Left 4 Dead 2.
Weirdest part? That update is totally free. Maybe it’ll incentivise people purchasing copies of RE6 to check it out and it will make financial sense!
There’s no proper time for the L4D2 update announced yet (settling for “Spring”) but the RE6 one will be out on April 5. To again clarify, this won’t be available on any other platform. This is a PC exclusive.
This is weird. Goddamn. Great job?
