Codemasters has released a new trailer for Grid 2 that showcases some of the game's cars, tracks, and race events. It's also narrated by a fictional entrepreneur who talks about his investment in racecar driving and how he's looking for a star racer (that's you) to represent his interests out in the world by winning races and being the best at what you do.
It's a little bit like Speed Racer, if the movie had real world vehicles and didn't resemble an acid trip.
The trailer showcases the rivalry between the New Union and the TransAmerica Pacers, two of the game's leading race clubs.
Like the first Grid, players will race in speedways, streets, and scenic country roads. Don't expect any stunt events however, as Codemasters is intent on keeping Grid 2 as close to reality as possible and saving the circus show for Dirt Showdown.
The game's set for release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 28.
