If you thought that 17,000,000 other posts on this website about the upcoming reprise in Ubisoft’s ode to stabbing people in the face and neck were enough, then let us surprise you! Here’s another one telling you everything we know about Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag!
- There are pirates in it! You’re one of them! You’re probably the best one that ever lived!
- Your name is Edward Kenway! You’re the dad of that guy who you play as for a bit in the previous game! You’re part English and part Welsh! You’re a wayward vagabond with a penchant for adventure and you’re a video game protagonist!
- There’s much more ship combat! You’ll pillage and plunder anything you can see!
- You’ll have to hire crew at ports if they get killed in combat!
- You’ll be able to harpoon whales!
- You’ll have to navigate tropical storms!
- There’ll be sunken treasure you can find!
- It takes place in the caribbean! That means you’ll hang out in Havana, Nassau and Kingston! But there’s also other locations on this way with unique content on them!
- There’s reportedly no loads! You’ll transition seamlessly from one area to the next!
- There’s multiplayer!
- You’ll have to stab people for reasons that story will explain!
- There won't be any desmond sections in the present day that slow down the pace of the game to a standstill every few hours!
Sound good? Cool. You can buy it on October 29th for your Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC and Wii U. It’ll also come out for next gen platforms, but we aren't sure if they'll be released on the same day.
