Losing no time after their latest announcement, BioWare has released a new trailer for Mass Effect's next multiplayer DLC, Reckoning. If you haven't heard of Reckoning, you'll be interested to know it's being released (for free) a week before the single-player DLC, Citadel on February 26. We've already got details on Reckoning here, but the video shows all of these new character classes in action.
The trailer shows a female Turian Cabal Vanguard using her biotics in fighting against hordes of Reapers, and a new character class that looks incredibly like EDI called an Alliance Infiltration Unit Infiltrator ( I'm certainly curious as to the explanation for that, considering EDI's body was commandeered from Cerberus).
The new Geth Juggernaut Soldier, Krogan Warlord Sentinel, and Talon Mercenary Engineer are also shown, with the latter likely coming from the Omega DLC's storyline. At the end of video, a mysterious clip of the new character class, the Awakened Collector Adept is shown. The name suggests that the character class has been liberated from the Reapers, perhaps by the Leviathan race shown in the single-player DLC of the same name, (which is nice that the single-player DLC ties in with the multiplayer). As shown, there will also be seven new weapons included with the DLC.
Just as Citadel is the last single-player DLC for the game, Reckoning is the last multiplayer DLC, effectively ending the Mass Effect trilogy. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.
