While online shops from consoles such as The Xbox One or PS4 having the credit card storage capabilities, players of the Switch would have only expected no different with the recently released console. However this was not the case – buyers were frustrated with having to input their details every time they wanted to make a purchase.Luckily today we have information via Nintendoeverything, that the feature has now been added to the e-Shop.
While this addition did not come with any update of sorts, Gamespot has confirmed that it works across regions, testing consoles in in Australia and testing on US and Japanese accounts.
This addition may have been very recent as the official Switch support website still states that you can’t store credit card information.
In other Switch news, the PS4 exclusive, Thumper, will be making an appearance on the console and will run at a steady 60fps.
In terms of performance, Thumper will run at a steady 1080p, 60 frames per second in the docked mode. When in handheld mode, the resolution will drop to 720p and remain locked at 60 frames per second. On the Nintendo Switch, “you’ll thump on-the-go for the first time. Naturally, we’ll fully utilize the fantastic HD rumble feature. You’ll feel every pulsing hit, scrape, pound, and crash.”
Thumper is currently available to purchase on PS4, Steam, Oculus, PSVR and will be releasing for the Nintendo Switch on May 18.
