When Activision bundled Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare with Modern Warfare Remastered, many gamers were upset. Many gamers wanted to just pick up Modern Warfare Remaster instead of picking up Infinite Warfare, but Activision did not let them; until what seems like next month.
Listed by Gamefly, a video game rental retailer, suggests that the long-awaited release of Modern Warfare Remaster as a standalone will happen sometime in July. To be precise, the game is scheduled to release on July 20.

In recent Modern Warfare news, the title has recently received a new DLC map pack. The four maps included in this pack are Broadcast, Chinatown, Creek, and Killhouse. This new Variety Map Pack sells for $15 and also comes with 10 “Rare” supply drops, which contain cosmetic items. These are normally unlocked either through gameplay or spending real money.
Descriptions for each of the four maps are available on Activision’s website.
Modern Warfare Remastered is only available through Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Legacy Edition. This package originally launched at $80 but is available for a lower price point at the moment.
