When it comes to Star Wars: Battlefront 2, it looks as if DICE really upped the production in order to deliver fans some of the more desirable features which were missing in the 2015 reboot release. For instance, we’re receiving space battles along with the highly requested campaign narrative.
Star Wars: Battlefront launched as a multiplayer-focused release which meant that gamers lost out on a single player campaign experience which fans became rather vocal about. Now with the upcoming sequel, DICE and EA officially revealed some of the narrative details gamers will unfold.
For instance, we know that the majority of the narrative follows an Empire’s special forces unit leader known as Iden Verios and will apparently hold a timeline of thirty years starting from the cinematic films Return of the Jedi to The Force Awakens.
While this isn’t the first time players will be taking control of a character within the Dark Side, it’s worth noting that Iden Verios is not the only playable character. Reported by Gamerant, gamers can also expect to control other iconic characters such as Luke Skywalker, Kylo Ren, and a Storm Trooper.
There could be a variety of other playable characters that have yet to be unveiled. Being that the Star Wars universe is filled with a massive pool of heroes and villains, we can’t wait to see just who else may show up for the narrative campaign.
