Ubisoft has just put out a new video of Far Cry 3, this time with actual gameplay.
The game's protagonist Jason Brody stages an attack on a shipbreaker yard where a bunch of bad guys happen to be. He isn't entirely alone, and he has help over the radio. As he makes his way through the yard, he guns down goons and blows up a bunch of things like the one man army that he is.
The map appears to offer extended verticality never before seen in previous Far Cry titles, with Brody using ziplines and climbing a ship's mast. Upon activating a satellite dish on the ship's mast, dubstep music kicks in and forces Brody into the water where he finally makes his escape.
Brody is injured from the battle, and makes his way to Dr. Earnhardt for treatment. Earnhardt instructs Brody to journey to a nearby cave complex to search for mushrooms needed for Brody's treatment. Having accidentally inhaled the spores, the entire journey turns into a wild psychadelic trip.
The rest of the trailer shows off segments of future parts of the game, in which Brody makes his way through a civilian ship hijacked by pirates. It's all very exciting.
Far Cry 3 is set for release this September on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
