Gamers who have been patiently waiting for the release of Black Desert Online now have a new obstacle to pass. A series of issues has popped up for the video game pre-launch, one that has been officially dubbed the “Shitstorm Matrix” which has several gamers upset who have either pre-ordered items or reserved their names before the game launch. As for now, the fixes are less than ideal for some players but for the most part, the developers Daum Games is working on fixing the issues for any players that are affected by them by the end of this month.
For starters, it seems that players who create a character are finding themselves starting on a different server than they initially selected. As for now the only fix for this is to delete the character and start over on the selected server once again. This little server issue has also affected players who have pre-order items in which case these items may end up on a wrong server making the pre-order utterly useless. Additionally, for the players who reserved a name for a character may find their created name stuck on a server they didn’t select.
This is one big headache for some gamers along with the developers who are working on solutions for the Shitstorm Matrix. As mentioned, for players who simply have a character in the wrong server, they can delete them and recreate them on the desired server at any time. Pre-order items are being sent to the appropriate server over the next couple days while name changes will not be resolved until the end of the month.
