The drought is over! There has been almost no news concerning Naughty Dog's upcoming Uncharted 4: A Thief's End since E3 2014 back in June. They gave us a shiny new trailer and forced us all to start anticipating the game long before its non-specific 2015 release window. While that was awesome and gave us a taste of what is to come, some art has been leaked from one of Naughty Dog's unreleased books.
Titled The Art of Naughty Dog, the book offers players a glimpse at both current and past Naughty Dog franchises. These franchises include Crash Bandicoot, The Last of Us, Jak and Daxter and obviously – Uncharted. Given the flagship size of these series, it will be very interesting to flip through the pages of this book, especially given the inclusion of Crash Bandicoot, a name which nearly every gamer worth his or her salt has spent some time with.
The concept art specific to Uncharted 4 looks to be very reminscient of the E3 2014 trailer, which showed Drake waking up near dead in a tropical forest. We're almost positive that The Art of Naughty Dog, which features an October 14, 2014 release date was going to be the first in a long, slow drip of content pertinent to Uncharted 4.
We've provided some of the concept art below, but take a look at Ultimate PS3 as well, who originally posted the scans. The art itself is gorgeous. Given the power of this generation and its new consoles, we're very excited to see just what a developer like Naughty Dog is capable of achieving.
