Ubisoft’s UPlay page has dropped hints that 7th gen game Assassin’s Creed Rogue will be coming to Windows.
The game appeared in the Uplay Reward page, meaning Ubisoft is planning for rewards for PC exclusive achievements. None of this would be possible unless Ubi was already planning to release the game for PC.
Just two weeks ago, Ubisoft did go on record that they were considering Assassin’s Creed Rogue for PC because of the responses they have been receiving from fans. They may have arrived at that decision sooner than expected.
Perhaps Ubisoft was initially hesitant to do this since they were also bringingAssassin’s Creed Unity to Windows, on November 11. The fan demand shows that there is enough of a presence on PC for Ubi to service separately from the consoles.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue will also be released on November 11, on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Perhaps Ubisoft will either hasten or delay its PC release so that PC gamers would not be compelled to pick one over the other.
