Ivan Reitman, franchise co-creator of Ghostbusters, had direct involvement with the project. In an interview with iO9, Reitman worked hand-in-hand with Sony’s VR team to perfect every single detail in Chapter One: Firehouse.
“VR has always been something I’ve been interested in as a storyteller,” Reitman said. “The rules of VR are quite different in terms of how you use editing, multiple angles, and most important, how you tell the story.”
Speaking on how long the series will go, Reitman reassures fans, once people are interested in the game, they will keep the story going. “It’ll go as long as we can figure out ways to change it up and as long as people are interested,” he said.
Ghostbusters: Now Hiring! is now available to play on PSVR.
