Torchlight 2 was updated over the weekend with a hefty new patch which includes a whole lot of bug fixes that affect general things in the game as well as some of the skills that weren’t function as they’re supposed to.
Here’s a sampling of what’s in the new patch, which should be automatically downloaded if you own the game on Steam:
*Shared stash now creates a backup of itself
*You can no longer 'steal' items from your buyback tab by closing the window with Spacebar
*Can’t drag merchant items onto the buyback tab
*Gambler does not show 'can't equip' X
*CTRL-M will instantly toggle map visibility
*Pet equipment cannot get sockets from enchantment

There’s no word yet on when Runic Games plans to release the Torchlight 2 editor, but it’s definitely something to look forward to.
