The sale of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has been done in “waves” of pre-orders at GameStop, presumably to copy with the high demand for the game and to build sales hype.
The first three waves of the game have come and gone, and the fourth wave is set to launch today. Although the website and the retailer have yet to officially put up the details of the pre-order bonuses this time around, the contents of the wave have since been leaked ahead of schedule in the picture below:
Those who pre-order the game today will be eligible to receive the final bonus offer, which includes a choice of three exclusives: a land, sea and air sweepstakes entry; an exclusive player card background for use in multiplayer; and a Kawasaki sweepstakes entry.
It goes without saying that the chances of winning either sweepstakes entries will be slim, so if you’re thinking about pre-ordering the game, it’s best to go with the multiplayer player card background—unless you’re feeling really lucky, that is.
Black Ops 2 is set for release on November 13, 2012 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The GameStop pre-order bonuses are available for all platforms.
