The War Z closed beta kicks off October 31

October 4, 2012 by Julie Horup

Halloween just got zombified.

Hammerpoint Interactive and Arktos Entertainment today announced that the closed beta for The War Z will go live on October 31.

"We've been working non-stop to tweak and balance the game to where we feel comfortable beginning to bring more players in," said Sergey Titov, executive producer on TWZ.

"We are now at that point, but this is where the real work begins. We want to work with our players to build and add additional features, remove those that they don't like and continue to evovle The War Z to be the best zombie survival-sim available."

If you can't wait until October 31, you better get your money ready and place a pre-order. You'll be able to choose from three different packages: Survivor, Pioneer or Legend. The Survivor package grants you access from October 31, but the Pioneer and Legend packages let you play from October 15.

Check out the details for pre-orders on the official homepage.
