Yesterday’s nonsense fan made trailer notwithstanding, Firaxis has put together a new launch trailer for its upcoming game XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Titled “Our Last Hope”, the trailer shows the XCOM team in action as they make their way out of their (player created) base onto the battlefield to face down hordes of alien bad guys as review scores of the game flash across the screen.
The trailer uses in-game visuals to depict the action, and players can expect to have just as much fun with the game as they’re playing it as we have watching this trailer.
XCOM: Enemy Unknown is set for release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 9. It comes out a few days later on October 12 in European territories.
