Halo 4 Trailer Features Promethean Weapons and Dubstep

Wub wub wub, wub wub wub. Mute the volume.

Halo 4

343 Industries and Microsoft have put out a new trailer for Halo 4 detailing the Promethean weapons that Spartans and Master Chief alike will be able to equip in the game’s campaign and various multiplayer modes.

Halo 4 is the first game in which these weapons make an appearance, which are originally equipped by the game’s new Promethean enemies. 

These high-tech weapons include the Scattershot, the Light Rifle, the Suppressor, Bolt Shot, Binary Rifle, and the powerful Incinerator Cannon. 

Be warned: the trailer jumps from the awesome Halo 4 soundtrack into a generic dubstep remix that’ll make you want to throw off your headphones and swear off music entirely. Why is it that game developers always seek to ruin their trailers with the inclusion of dubstep? You know it’s only going to get panned. 

Terrible dubstep aside, Halo 4 is set for release on November 6. It is exclusive (no kidding!) to the Xbox 360.
