Voeld, Kadara, and Eos are three of the many planets that you will visit in Mass Effect: Andromeda. Each have varied environments and enemies for you to discover.
Exploration was always a fun and intriguing aspect of the franchise, but the difficult to control Mako make it a little less than perfect.
This IGN First video shows off the general environment for each of these planets and what types of encounters you will come across on the surface. Exploration is one of the most immersive experiences in the game, and at an outpost, you can call your Nomad down for a drive.
Voeld is an ice planet completely covered with snow. This cold weather is hazardous to humans’ health (as seen with Ryder) and to the structural integrity of the Nomad as well. This planet is also the home of the Angara.
Kadara is a lush, green planet, and the video explores some enemy outposts. Eos is a desert-like planet with some pretty terrifying creatures, like the Architect which is completely mechanical.
Mass Effect: Andromeda will release on March 21st for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
