Breath of the Wild – How To Solve All Shrines | Hateno Walkthrough

March 9, 2017 by Kevin Thielenhaus

On WiiU & Switch: Learn how to reveal hidden Shrines, how to solve difficult puzzles, and tips for completing two battles in extreme conditions.

Table of Contents – Hateno Shrines

  • Mezza Lo Shrine
  • Kam Urog Shrine
  • Dow Na’eh Shrine
  • Chaas Qeta Shrine
  • Tahno O’ah
  • Jitan Sa’mi

Myahm Agana Shrine – Myahm Agana Apparatus

This shrine is impossible to miss. Spot it in Hateno Village, on the hill near the modern housing development. It doubles as a convenient fast travel point for returning to Hateno Village.

Like the other “apparatus” shrines, this one involves a device that allows you to move geometry with motion controls. Examine the orange device up the steps and twist to get the ball through the maze. There’s no trick here, you just have to take it slow.

There is one thing you can do to make things easier. Twist the maze after dumping the ball, and you can catch it in the final “hallway”, letting you try the last step faster.

The trickiest part is getting enough speed to send the ball flying. Once it’s out of the maze, it will roll down and enter the funnel, unlocking the altar gate.

  • Optional Chest: Tilt the maze slightly downward and paraglide to the funnel. Enter the maze to reach this chest. There’s a Phrenic Bow inside.
