Mar 8, 2017 Jordan Biazzo

What platform will you be picking RiME up on?

Grey Box, Six Foot, and Tequila Works have announced the release date for the highly anticipated puzzle adventure game, RiME.

The game is set to release on May 26 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC; and it will cost — both digitally and physically, $29.99 / €34.99 / £29.99. However, those who are interested in a Switch version will have to wait a little while longer.

As the press release states, RiME will be coming to the Switch both physically and digitally, utilizing the consoles portability, however, the price will increase an extra $10 dollars. The suggested retail price for the game is set to $39.99 / €44.99 / £39.99. There is no confirmation of the release date for the Switch.

RiME is a single-player puzzle adventure game about discovery, experienced through the eyes of a young boy who awakens on a mysterious island after shipwrecking off its coast. Players must navigate the island’s secrets by making use of light, sound, perspective and even time. Inspired by the rugged, sunbaked terrain of the Mediterranean coast, RiME paints its breathtaking world with a fusion of vibrant colours and moving musical undertones to set the stage for the deeply personal journey that awaits within.
