As promised, WB Games and developer Monolith have released a very lengthy gameplay trailer for the recently announced sequel — Middle-Earth: Shadow of War.

The gameplay reveal has a lot of similarities to the first game, such as Talion, Wraith, and Orcs, however, there is plenty of new stuff detailed as well, such as followers, dragons, and much more. Watch the 16-minute gameplay reveal down below:

Witness firsthand the next generation of the innovative Nemesis System—featuring the addition of Nemesis Fortresses—where players must utilize different strategies to conquer dynamic strongholds and forge their personalized Orc army. In this video, Talion and Celebrimbor have used the power of the New Ring to recruit Followers in their assault on a fortress in the mountain valley of Seregost. This is just one of the millions of possibilities that players will experience in Middle-earth: Shadow of War.

Xbox recently announced that the title will be available for the upcoming Project Scorpio console, once it releases later this holiday season. They have also announced that Shadow of War will become an Xbox Play Anywhere title; which enables gamers to save their Middle-earth: Shadow of War progress, DLC, Gamerscore and Achievements to their Xbox Live cloud-synced player profiles.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War is set to release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 22, 2017.
