Mass Effect Won’t Get A Multiplayer Tech Test as it was Deemed “Not necessary”

March 2, 2017 by Jordan Coetsee

Let’s hope BioWare isn’t being overconfident…

BioWare has cancelled its plans for a multiplayer tech test. Essentially an open beta for multiplayer.

Although last year they stated that they will be hosting an open tech test they recently cancelled their plans due to the fact that BioWare is confident enough that the multiplayer is running optimally. PCgamer enquired on the issue and BioWare responded: “Our team worked extremely hard building, testing, and balancing multiplayer, and we ultimately determined that a tech test would not be necessary.”

While players at home won’t get the chance to get the chance the play the game before release, fans at Pax East will have the opportunity to have a run through with the game.
