Stay up-to-date on all things Nintendo Switch with the News feature. When you start the system or wake it from Sleep Mode, featured articles appear on-screen, highlighting the latest updates from Nintendo. You can also find News on the HOME Menu. It’s your destination for game news, trailers, behind-the-scenes info, and more. In addition, Nintendo eShop is your one-stop-shop for browsing, buying, and downloading software.

Thanks to the Nindie Showcase from  yesterday, players who are excited about the Switch can finally see the commitment from Nintendo’s third-party support. As announced by Nintendo, there are currently more than 60 indie titles in the works for the Switch.

This is huge for Nintendo, as they step into a new world of developers, games, and fans. The Wii U had its share of indie titles, but the Switch will have more than 60 within its first year, making it a very robust system.

The showcase, which can be watched right here, showed off some familiar games like Stardew Valley — due out this Summer, Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment — launch title, and Yooka Laylee — coming 2017, but we also got a look at some new games like Runner3, Steam World Dig 2, and much more.

Nintendo Switch is set to release this Friday, March 3.
