Pokémon Go Lowers the Price on Storage Upgrades

February 16, 2017 by Jordan Coetsee

Good news for Pokemon hoarders.

Pokemon Go has already announced a huge content drop this week; introducing 80 new Pokemon to the roster. But this is not all that Niantic has in store for players. The ability to evolve their Pokemon into beasts that debuted in Gold and Silver‘s Johto region has also been provided.

This is only the beginning. Niantic has announced that players can now bag themselves a 50% discount on storage upgrades. Adding 50 more Pokemon storage spaces (with a maximum of 1,000 spaces) usually costs 200 Poke Coins, but between now and Feb. 28, t will cost just 100 Poke Coins to snag that extra storage.

Happy hunting Pokemon trainers. Go catch em’ all.

Pokemon GO is now available on iOS and Android.
