Niantic will be launching a new Valentine’s Day event for Pokemon Go. It will be running from February 8th at 11 AM PST and ending on February 15th 2017 at 11 AM PST. Players will receive double the amount of Candy when catching, hatching, and transferring Pokemon. Buddy Pokemon are able to collect Candy twice as fast for their trainers.
In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, adorable pink Pokemon including Chansey, Clefable, Porygon, and others will have increased spawn rates. In addition, Pokemon like Cleffa, Igglybuff, and Smoochum will have a higher chance of hatching from Eggs. Trainers can also celebrate the event by deploying Lure Moldules that will attract Pokemon for six whole hours, instead of the previous duration of only 30 minutes.
